Travel to change your perspective

June 10, 2012

Today I am traveling to San Francisco for both fun and business.  I’m looking forward to eating lots of great food in San Francisco and walking across the Golden Gate Bridge.  I’m going to visit Muir Woods so I can remind myself of my relatively short time span on this planet, in this form.  I find that a change of scenary and routine is essential to generating new opportunities and creative solutions.  If you feel stuck – at work, at a project, at life – travel somewhere and see what shows up!  You just need to move and change your perspective to benefit.  If you can’t take a big trip, take a small one.  Sometimes, even a short 30 minute walk outside can help.  Try it the next time you feel stuck, and enjoy the fresh air in your body and mind.
